Terms of service
The agreement between you and DevSoftUK for DeviceCheck. Last updated 22 August 2026.

What you are buying
A licence to run DeviceCheck at a number of branches, billed per branch. You may run as many testing PCs as you like at each branch — a PC registers itself the first time somebody signs in on it, and is never refused for a count. You may also test as many laptops, phones and tablets as you like: the price is per branch, not per bench and not per device tested.
Price and billing
£50 per branch per month, or £500 per branch per year. Prices are in pounds sterling. VAT is not added. Payment is taken by card through Stripe and renews automatically each period until you cancel. Adding a branch mid-period is charged on your next invoice; removing one is credited. Adding a PC costs nothing.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your Plan page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, not immediately — your benches keep working until then — and you can undo it at any point before that date.
Refunds
We do not refund part-used periods, because you keep the service to the end of the one you have paid for. If you were charged in error, or something on our side stopped you using what you paid for, email [email protected] and we will put it right.
If a payment fails
Your benches keep working for 14 days while the card is retried, so a card that expires overnight does not cost a technician their morning. After that the licence lapses.
What happens when a plan ends
DeviceCheck goes read-only rather than refusing to open: every report and photograph you have already saved still opens and still prints. What stops is starting a new test and saving a new report. Your reports remain yours and we do not delete them when a plan ends.
Your responsibilities
Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anyone signed in as you can see your company’s test history. Tell us to remove people who leave. The verdicts in a report are your operator’s judgement, and you are responsible for what you tell your own customers about a device.
What we do not promise
DeviceCheck reports what a device tells it and what your operator observed. Some things cannot be tested in software at all — dead pixels, for one — and the app says so where that is true. We do not warrant that a device passing every test is free of faults, and our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
Ending the agreement
You may stop at any time by cancelling. We may suspend an account for non-payment, or close one that is being used to break the law, and will tell you why.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
